Sia & Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” Expected To Reclaim #1 At Pop Radio

Last week, Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” ceded the top spot at pop radio to twenty one pilots’ “Ride.”

This week, it will likely recapture that #1 position.

“Cheap Thrills” received 14,259 spins during the first six days of the August 28 – September 3 tracking period. While down 5.5% from last week’s mark, the count positions “Cheap Thrills” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

“Ride” is currently #2 on the building chart; it received 14,064 spins within the six-day window (-7.1%).

Given its advantage over “Ride” and the lack of another imminent threat from below, “Cheap Thrills” should be able to retain its #1 spot through the close of tracking.

Upon doing so, it will secure a sixth, non-consecutive week at #1.
