Ariana Grande’s “Into You” is still on the rise at pop radio, but at least one station is already showing support for the planned follow-up.
Mediabase confirms that San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 played Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” nine times during the period between August 20 and 26. The spins came within the mid-day, afternoon and evening day parts and resulted in approximately 179,000 audience impressions.
Grande and Minaj will perform the new single during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. Sunday will also bring the launch of the video; it will premiere in support of the new Guess Music initiative.
The aforementioned “Into You” is set to reach a new peak of #9 on this week’s Mediabase pop chart.
