The Chainsmokers & Daya’s “Don’t Let Me Down” Spends Third Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

As the end of the tracking week approached, attention focused on whether Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” would overtake The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” for #1 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

It did not.

Thanks to better-than-expected weekly retention for “Don’t Let Me Down” and a smaller-than-expected weekly gain for “One Dance,” The Chainsmokers’ tune remains atop the listing. This is the song’s third week at #1.

“Don’t Let Me Down” received approximately 17,792 spins during the July 3-9 tracking week. That figure trails last week’s mark by 613 but keeps The Chainsmokers-Daya collaboration safely atop the chart.

“One Dance,” which was #3 last week, moves into the #2 spot on the strength of its ~17,553 weekly spins (+219).

Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” drops a spot to #3 with ~16,988 weekly plays (-347), while Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” enjoys a one-place lift to #4. It received ~15,017 tracking week spins (+1,976).

Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” is stationary at #5. The superstar collaboration posted a weekly spin count of ~14,857 (+606).
