Save for confirming John Cena and Victoria Justice as co-hosts and Charlie Puth and Serayah as performers, FOX has thus far been mum on those who will be gracing the stage at the July 31 Teen Choice 2016 awards ceremony.
That changed Wednesday afternoon, when the network confirmed Timberlake as this year’s “Decade Award” recipient.
2016 marks the ten-year anniversary of Timberlake’s album “FutureSex/LoveSounds.” The award will also more broadly recognize the “multi-talented star for his accomplishments in film, television and social media.”
“From his musical artistry to innovative collaborations, the CAN’T STOP THE FEELING! singer continues to create relevant, chart-topping music, transcending generations of fans,” says FOX of Timberlake. “A true TEEN CHOICE icon, Timberlake has won a total of 22 TEEN CHOICE Awards, the most ever by a male.”
