HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” Ratings Rise Again

Despite facing competition from a highly rated NBA playoffs game and the Billboard Music Awards, HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” enjoyed another week-to-week performance increase.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 3.96 adults 18-49 rating and 7.890 million total viewers. The numbers narrowly top the 3.92 rating and 7.82 million viewership sum drawn by last week’s broadcast.

“Game Of Thrones” was Sunday night’s #1 program in adults 18-49. It trailed only the BBMAs, “60 Minutes” and the NBA game in terms of total viewership.

HBO’s lineup also included “Silicon Valley” (0.94, 1.71 million), “Veep” (0.42, 0.92 million) and “Last Week Tonight” (0.57, 1.27 million).
