Troye Sivan’s “Youth” Earns Gold Certification In The United States

Earlier this year, “Youth” became the first Troye Sivan single to receive meaningful attention at US radio.

This week, it became the first Troye Sivan single to earn a certification from the RIAA.

On May 9, “Youth” formally attained gold status in the United States. The gold certification confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000, with one unit being equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Youth” appears on Sivan’s debut album “Blue Neighbourhood.” It peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100.
