Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” Crosses 250K Sales, Pacing For 2016’s Top Debut Mark

Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” is on pace to comfortably post 2016’s best opening week single sales total.

According to a report on Hits Daily Double, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” has already crossed 250,000 in paid US downloads. With half the tracking week still remaining, the “Trolls” soundtrack cut will have no trouble setting the year-to-date high mark for a new single.

ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” currently holds that distinction; it sold just over 267,000 first week copies in the US.

“Can’t Stop The Feeling” is also off to an explosive start at radio. It debuted at #22 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart after just two days of availability; no song has ever reached #22 as quickly.

It is also quickly gaining traction on the streaming front; it was Sunday’s #7 song on US Spotify.
