FOX’s “Lucifer” Ratings Hold Up For Season Finale

Airing out of a “Gotham” re-run, Monday’s “Lucifer” season finale matched last week’s improved adults 18-49 rating. It enjoyed a slight increase over last week’s elevated viewership number.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, the final first season edition of FOX’s “Lucifer” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 3.86 million total viewers. The adults 18-49 rating mirrors last week’s figure, while the viewership sum is up from the penultimate episode’s 3.81 million audience figure.

That broadcast, as noted, outperformed its predecessor (1.1, 3.44 million) in both columns.

While not a strong live+same-day ratings performer, “Lucifer” has performed reasonably well by 2016 standards. It, moreover, has remained fairly consistent into the spring — an increasingly rare achievement that should not be taken for granted.

FOX recently renewed the show for a second season.
