“Shadowhunters” Sets Ratings Low For Season Finale; “Stitchers” Also Down To Low

Freeform’s Tuesday dramas both set new live+same-day lows in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Per data from Showbuzz, 9PM drama “Shadowhunters” slipped to a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating and 0.76 million total viewers for Tuesday’s season finale. The series low numbers trail the 0.32 rating and 0.82 million viewer mark posted by last week’s installment.

While not a strong live+same-day performer, “Shadowhunters” has been reasonably consistent throughout the season — even this week’s numbers, while lows, are not down dramatically from those of last week. The combination of live+same-day consistency, multi-platform interest and brand passion resulted in a second season renewal.

Leading out of Tuesday’s “Shadowhunters” finale, drama “Stitchers” fell to series lows of 0.11 in adults 18-49 and 0.34 million in total viewership.

The numbers are down from the 0.18 rating and 0.46 million viewership mark drawn last week.

“Stitchers” was far from a ratings behemoth in season one, but it has endured particular struggle across its first three episodes. Worth noting: it has been leading out of “Shadowhunters” rather than “Pretty Little Liars,” and it is airing at 10PM rather than 9PM.
