Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” Receives Platinum Certification in US

The third single from Selena Gomez’ “Revival” has officially been certified platinum in the United States.

Gomez’ “Hands To Myself,” which is on the verge of hitting #1 at pop radio, earned the platinum distinction on March 30, 2016.

The certification confirms a US unit total of 1 million, with one unit being equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Hands To Myself” is the second platinum-certified single from Gomez’ album; lead single “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” has also earned the distinction.

Even though it would be eligible for platinum based on pure sales alone, second single “Same Old Love,” interestingly, has not yet received any RIAA certification.
