“Love Yourself” Becomes Justin Bieber’s First Hot AC #1; James Bay’s “Let It Go” Goes Top 5

“Love Yourself,” which became Justin Bieber’s third career #1 hit at both pop radio and on the Billboard Hot 100, this week becomes his first chart-topper at the hot adult contemporary radio format.

Spun ~6,513 times during the March 6-12 tracking week (+617), “Love Yourself” rises two places to #1 on Mediabase’s Hot AC chart.

“Love Yourself” seizes the throne from twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out,” which slips to #2 this week. It earned ~6,421 tracking week spins (-16).

Adele’s “When We Were Young” slips a spot to #3 with ~6,223 weekly plays (+233), while James Bay’s “Let It Go” rises two places to #4. The song, which received ~4,775 weekly spins (+269), is making its first appearance in the Top 5.

Shawn Mendes’ former #1 “Stitches” holds at #5 with ~4,757 tracking week plays (-170).
