Demi, Meghan, Legend, Luke Performing Lionel Richie Tribute At Grammys

Several weeks ago, the Recording Academy announced plans to tribute Musicares “Person of the Year” Lionel Richie at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Tuesday, it revealed the performers scheduled to participate in the tribute.

Per an official press release, the tribute will feature Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, John Legend, and Luke Bryan.

They “will take audiences on a musical journey through the 2016 MusiCares® Person of the Year’s songbook, spanning Commodores-era classics to memorable hits that earned Richie a GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year for 1984.”

“As part of the segment, Richie will also take the stage to join the artists in performing a special collaborative rendition of one of his all-time classics,” adds the press release.

CBS’ 2016 Grammy Awards broadcast airs at 8PM ET/5PM PT on February 15.
