Maddie & Tae’s “Fly” Reaches Gold Status in the United States

“Girl In A Country Song,” the debut single from Maddie & Tae, is certified platinum in the United States.

As of late January, the follow-up is gold.

Maddie & Tae’s “Fly” officially received a gold certification on January 29, 2016. The gold certification confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000.

At the time of certification, 1 unit was equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams. The streaming requirement has since been increased to 150.

Both “Girl” and “Fly” appear on the duo’s self-titled debut EP as well as the duo’s debut LP “Start Here.”
