Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere On A Beach” Ranks as Country Radio’s Most Added

Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere On A Beach” predictably earns this week’s most added honor at country radio.

Aided by considerable opening week buzz — and launch day support from the iHeartMedia network — “Somewhere On A Beach” earned impact week adds from 87 Mediabase-monitored country stations.

While Bentley’s new single received the greatest number of weekly adds, it was not the only popular option for country radio programmers. Picked up by 57 stations, Chris Young & Cassadee Pope’s “Think of You” also fared well. The tune ranks as the week’s second-most added country track.

Maren Morris’ “My Church” follows as third-most added with 21 pickups, while Steven Tyler’s “Red, White & You” takes fourth on the strength of its 18 adds.

An add count of 15 earns Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” fifth place.

This week’s other notable country options: Chris Lane’s “Fix” (11 adds, 6th-most), Trace Adkins’ “Jesus and Jones” (10, 7th), Big & Rich’s “Lovin’ Lately (featuring Tim McGraw)” (8, 8th, tie), Jennifer Nettles’ “Unlove You” (8, 8th, tie), Jordan Rager’s “Feels Like One Of Them (with Jason Aldean)” (7, 10th, tie), Justin Moore’s “You Look Like I Need A Drink” (7, 10th, tie), and Old Dominion’s “Snapback” (7, 10th, tie).
