Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” Earns 2X Platinum Certification in US

Meghan Trainor’s debut album “Title” and its tracks have produced a myriad of RIAA certifications.

On January 8, 2016, Trainor received another one. Her “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” officially reached double-platinum status.

In scoring its 2X distinction, “Lose You” becomes Trainor’s fourth radio single — in four tries (as a lead artist) — to go multi-platinum. Breakthrough “All About That Bass” is presently 9x platinum, while “Lips Are Movin” and “Dear Future Husband” are 4x and 2x platinum, respectively.

As an album, “Title” is platinum. Its title track is gold.

The 2x platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million, where one unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.
