The Weeknd’s “The Hills” Reaches 6x Platinum In The United States

“The Hills,” which was already The Weeknd’s most-certified single, recently received another one.

While not yet reported in the RIAA database, word has emerged that the song has earned a 6x platinum certification in the United States.

The 6x platinum certification signifies US digital unit total of at least 6 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

Through December 17, “The Hills” has generated 2.44 million paid US downloads.
