Ratings: Syfy’s “Childhood’s End” Rises Slightly For Part Three

While not as hot as the opener, part three of Syfy’s “Childhood’s End” performed better than part two.

Per Nielsen Live+Same-Day cable data, Wednesday’s broadcast drew a 0.33 adults 18-49 rating and 1.282 million total viewers. The numbers narrowly top the 0.31 rating and 1.242 million viewership mark achieved by Tuesday’s installment.

Part one posted a 0.43 with 1.447 million viewers on Monday night.

Advantageous due to the absence of competition, the mid-December airdate also limited the miniseries’ ability to generate enthusiasm. As a result, it posted the aforementioned, modest live+same-day numbers.

Wednesday’s “Childhood’s End” led into “The Magicians,” which drew a 0.26 rating and 916,000 total viewers in the 10PM hour.
