While it did not return to its early-season levels, ABC’s “Quantico” did enjoy slight week-to-week gains for its winter finale.
Per Nielsen fast national data, Sunday’s episode drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 4.510 million total viewers. The numbers narrowly top those of last week’s broadcast, which posted a 1.2 in the key demo and 4.390 million in total viewership.
Notable about this week’s performance is that it was the first to air without an original “Once Upon A Time” earlier in the night. The lack of “OUAT” at 8PM (it was replaced by a low-rated “Behind The Magic: Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs” special) resulted in a deflated performance for 9PM series (and direct “Quantico” lead-in) “Blood & Oil.”
After drawing a 0.9 and 3.234 million viewers last week, “Blood & Oil” settled for a 0.7 with 3.123 million this week. This week’s “Blood & Oil” was the series finale.
ABC’s lineup also included “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (0.9, 5.286 million) and the aforementioned “Behind The Magic” (0.7, 3.441 million).
“Quantico,” which routinely receives monster gains from DVR viewership, returns with original episodes in March.
