Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift Score Record and Song of the Year Grammy Nominations

Announced Monday morning, the Grammy races for Record of the Year and Song of the Year include two overlapping nominees: Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.”

The two songs — which rank among the eligibility year’s biggest hits — were both considered locks for nominations.

On the record front, Swift and Sheeran will compete with Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars),” D’Angelo and The Vanguard’s “Really Love,” and The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.”

The song race finds them in contention with Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright,” and Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.”

The year’s full list of nominations is available here.
