Adele’s “Hello” Stays #1 at Hot AC Radio; Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You” Enters Top 10

As it does at Triple A, adult contemporary and pop radio, Adele’s “Hello” retains the throne at hot adult contemporary.

Spun ~7,145 times during the November 29-December 5 tracking week (+66), the lead “25” single earns a third week at #1 on Mediabase’s Hot AC airplay chart.

Elle King’s former #1 “Ex’s and Oh’s” remains positioned at #2 with ~6,573 weekly spins (-54), while Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” rises one place to #3. It received ~6,232 tracking week spins (+159).

Taylor Swift’s former #1 “Wildest Dreams” drops to #4 (~6,013, -236), while Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” holds tight at #5 (~6,008, +14).

While the Trainor and Swift songs switch places, this week’s Top 5 ultimately features the same songs that it did last week.

One song does, however, make an inaugural appearance inside the Top 10.

Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You,” that song, rises one place to #10 on the chart. It received ~3,216 weekly Hot AC spins (+83).
