Chris Stapleton Wins Male Vocalist Of The Year, Sweeps His CMA Awards Categories

Remember that comment about it being “Chris Stapleton Night?” It still holds up.

The singer-songwriter, who earlier won for New Artist and Album of the Year, was just named the CMA Awards winner for Male Vocalist Of the Year.

He thus swept the three categories in which he was nominated. That sweep, meanwhile, comes on the same night in which he and Justin Timberlake stole the show with the best awards ceremony performance in years.

Other Male Vocalist nominees were Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, and Eric Church.
