Final Ratings Update: In addition to holding completely steady in the adults 18-49 demographic, episode two of ABC’s “Quantico” was its timeslot’s highest-rated and most-watched scripted show.
It was also ABC’s top Sunday show in both columns.
Per final broadcast data, the episode of ABC’s new drama drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating with 6.983 million viewers. It matched its premiere adults 18-49 rating and nearly tied its premiere viewership mark (7.142 million).
ABC’s other Sunday programming:
7PM – “The Muppets” re-run – 0.5, 2.407 million
7:30PM – “The Muppets” re-run – 0.8, 2.664 million
8PM – “Once Upon a Time” – 1.8, 5.379 million
9PM – “Blood & Oil” – 1.3, 5.275 million

Fast National Update: While it suffered a slight week-to-week viewership loss, Sunday’s “Quantico” impressively matched its premiere performance in adults 18-49.
It also repeated as ABC’s #1 Sunday night show.
Per fast national data, Sunday’s “Quantico” drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating with 6.939 million viewers. Last week’s episode drew the same 1.9 rating but a total of 7.142 million viewers.
Since even strong series often lose 10-20% of their premiere audiences in week two, this is a clear victory for ABC and its new 10PM drama.
“Quantico” was the timeslot’s #2 broadcast network program in adults 18-49.
Other ABC programs:
7PM: “The Muppets” re-runs – 0.6, 2.582 million
8PM: “Once Upon a Time” – 1.8, 5.329 million
9PM: “Blood & Oil” – 1.2, 5.188 million
===================
It remains to be seen how the second episode of ABC’s “Quantico” fared in adults 18-49 and total viewership.
In terms of overnight household ratings, however, “Quantico” was once again the network’s best-performing Sunday night show.
Per metered market data, Sunday’s “Quantico” drew a 4.7 overnight household rating in the 10PM hour. While that trails the 5.3 drawn by last week’s premiere, it still represents a solid household number.
Moreover, it was by far the best household rating for one of ABC’s Sunday night programs. The hourlong “Muppets” encore averaged a 1.7 from 7-8PM, while 8PM drama “Once Upon a Time” and 9PM drama “Blood & Oil” both posted 3.3 overnight household ratings.
While the younger-skewing veteran “Once Upon a Time” may at least partially close the gap in terms of adults 18-49, the strong household differential all but assures “Quantico” will lead in total viewership. Adults 18-49 and total viewership data is due by 11:15AM.
As far as its timeslot goes, “Quantico” will again rank as its timeslot’s #2 broadcast network program in adults 18-49 (ahead of CBS’ drama but behind NBC’s Sunday Night Football).
