Ratings: “Descendants: Wicked World” Premiere Drew 2.3 Million Viewers

More than 2.3 million viewers tuned into the inaugural “Descendants: Wicked World.”

Entitled “Evie’s Explosion of Taste,” Friday’s two-minute short drew 2.308 million total viewers. It also posted a 0.43 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and a 0.38 in adults 18-34.

The episode was Disney Channel’s second-most-watched Friday night program; only lead-out “Girl Meets World” (2.423 million) drew a larger audience.

It ranked third in the adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 demographics; the aforementioned “GMW” (0.56, 0.62) and “Jessie” (0.45, 0.46) posted stronger numbers.

An extension of the “Descendants” movie, the “Wicked World” series consists of two-minute animated shorts.
