Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Jumps For Season Finale

Tuesday’s “Scream,” which brought the first season to an end, enjoyed week-over-week upticks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, and total viewership.

The episode posted a 0.34 in adults 18-49, a 0.43 in adults 18-34 and a viewership total of 754,000.

The three numbers top those of last week’s broadcast, which drew a 0.28 in A18-49, a 0.42 in A18-34 and 554,000 total viewers. Last week’s numbers all set or tied series lows.

Not simply up from last week’s broadcast, this week’s episode was the most-watched “Scream” since the July 21 edition (802,000 viewers).

Despite a season’s worth of modest ratings, “Scream” has been renewed for a second season. Per MTV, the next string of episodes will bow in 2016.
