Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Nelly’s “The Fix (featuring Jeremih)” share rhythmic radio’s most-added honor this week. Each received adds from 13 Mediabase-monitored stations.
The “Hotline Bling” support comes as the song officially earns a Top 40 spot on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
It also comes as rhythmic radio programmers continue to enthusiastically spin Drake’s other song “Back to Back.” That song received 335 spins during the first two days of the August 23-29 tracking period; the count bests last week’s mark by a healthy 52.3%.
“The Fix,” which debuted at #86 on this week’s overall Hot 100, will land comfortably within the Top 40 on this week’s rhythmic airplay chart. Spun 215 times during the first two days of the tracking week (+102.8%), it holds #36 on the building chart.
Rita Ora’s “Body On Me (featuring Chris Brown)” ranks as the week’s third-most-added song. The iHeartRadio “On the Verge” track received 10 adds this week.
Jeremih’s “Planes (featuring J. Cole)” grabs fourth-most-added thanks to its 9 pickups, while Fetty Wap’s “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” and Omarion’s “I’m Up (featuring Kid Ink)” share fifth-most-added. Each received 8 adds.
