Prior to Tuesday, MTV had confirmed only one main show performer — and two pre-show acts — for this year’s Video Music Awards.
Tuesday evening, it finally added to the show’s official bill.
Per MTV, Tori Kelly, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, twenty one pilots with A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell will join the previously-announced The Weeknd as main show performers.
Two additional performers — one male and one female — will be announced over the next two days.
Nick Jonas and Walk The Moon are slated for performances on the pre-show, which will also feature the debut of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” video.
The MTV Video Music Awards take place on August 30. Miley Cyrus hosts the show, while Kanye West will receive the Video Vanguard Award.
