Absent from the international limelight since single “In Your Arms” reached its peak, Nico & Vinz are back with a new track.
And they are not the only voices featured.
Released Thursday, new single “That’s How You Know” finds the Norwegian duo sharing the vocal spotlight with labelmate Bebe Rexha and go-to featured artist Kid Ink. Thanks to the song’s stripped, breezy production (somewhat evocative of that on “FourFiveSeconds”), the four contrasting, yet complementary vocalists take center stage.
The result is an endearing, soulful record that, while not as obviously commercial as “Am I Wrong,” should earn praise from fans.
Official audio follows. It should be noted that two alternative recordings exist; one features the uncensored hook “that’s how you know you fucked up,” while another declares, “that’s how you know you messed up.”
