Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” Goes 11x Platinum; “Poker Face” Hits 9X

May brought forth several new digital RIAA certifications for Lady Gaga.

The most significant of the set is an 11x platinum certification for “Bad Romance.” Per the terms of the RIAA digital program, the 11x platinum label confirms that the song has shifted at least 11 million units in the US.

A unit is equivalent to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

Other new, multi-platinum certifications include a 9x distinction for “Poker Face,” an 8x mark for “Just Dance” and a 3x label for “Applause.”

In conjunction with its 3x mark, “Applause” was retroactively certified gold, platinum and double platinum.

Gaga also earns a new platinum single in the form of “Do What U Want.”
