Ratings: “Wayward Pines” Adds Viewers, Slips in Demo Against NBA Finals

Airing against ABC’s mammoth NBA Finals broadcast but also against a deflated edition of old-skewing timeslot competitor “Aquarius,” Thursday’s “Wayward Pines” slipped in the adults 18-49 demographic but rose in total viewership.

Per fast national data, Thursday’s edition of the FOX event series posted a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 4.200 million viewers. Last week’s episode, which faced the premiere of “Aquarius,” delivered a 1.2 rating with 3.97 million viewers.

While down from the previous two episodes in the demo (both did a 1.2), this Thursday’s “Wayward Pines” nonetheless remained ahead of the May 14 premiere. That episode, which faced the season finales of “Scandal” and “The Blacklist,” posted a 1.0 with 3.76 million viewers.

FOX led into “Wayward Pines” with “Bones” (1.1 with 5.123 million viewers versus a 1.2 with 5.42 million last week).
