They drove enough paid downloads to secure iTunes multiplier bonuses.
Sawyer Fredericks’ “Imagine” and Kimberly Nichole’s “House of the Rising Sun” also generated enough first week sales to land on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
Giving “The Voice” its first Hot 100 presence this season, the Fredericks and Nichole covers land at #98 and #100, respectively.
Driven by hefty sales interest, those Hot 100 rankings positions come in conjunction with Top 30 appearances on the Digital Songs subcharts. “Imagine” ranks as the week’s 25th-best seller, while “House of the Rising Sun” debuts at #27 on Digital Songs.
Meghan Linsey’s “Girl Crush,” which also scored an iTunes bonus last week, nearly earns a Hot 100 position as well. It lands at #1 on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart, which ranks the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Hot 100.
Her version of “Girl Crush” grabs #28 on Digital Songs.
