Ratings: TBS’ “Your Family or Mine” Premieres Softly

TBS does not appear to have a hit in new comedy “Your Family or Mine.”

Tuesday’s premiere episode drew a soft 0.44 adults 18-49 rating with 1.15 million viewers.

Unremarkable in a vacuum, the numbers look particularly disappointing in context. TBS’ 9:30PM “The Big Bang Theory” re-run, which functioned as a lead-in to the “Your Family or Mine” premiere, drew a considerably stronger 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.23 million viewers.

While TBS might not have expected its new comedy’s performance to precisely match that of the “Big Bang” encore, it was doubtfully hoping for one only half as strong.

Moreover, the premiere episode’s viewership total trails the lowest numbers ever delivered by TBS’ recently cancelled comedies “Sullivan & Son” and “Ground Floor.” The series low viewership marks for those series clocked in at 1.27 million and 1.20 million, respectively.
