Ratings: HBO’s “Girls” Slips, “The Jinx” Soars, “Looking” Rises Slightly

The streak of ratings increases ended for HBO’s “Girls,” which achieved reduced marks for Sunday’s broadcast.

After rising to a 0.35 adults 18-49 rating with 708,000 viewers on March 8, “Girls” slipped to a 0.30 rating with 701,000 viewers for the March 15 episode. By falling in the demo, it gave “Last Week Tonight” the nightly HBO crown. That series, which airs at 11PM, drew a 0.33 rating with 845,000 viewers (up from last week’s 0.32 with 695,000 viewers).

“Girls” was, in fact, the only HBO program to slip this week.

HBO’s 8PM entry “The Jinx” enjoyed a massive rise for its finale; it followed last week’s 0.14 rating and 446,000 viewership total with a 0.28 rating and 802,000 viewers.

10PM series “Looking,” meanwhile, bested last week’s 0.10/302,000 performance with a 0.14 rating and 312,000 total viewers.
