The hope is that the video for Meghan Trainor’s new “Dear Future Husband” will do the same.
First premiered in conjunction with her appearance on Monday’s “TODAY” Show, the video arrives just as “Dear Future Husband” formally impacts mainstream radio as the third single from “Title.”
Like her previous videos, the “Husband” clip makes superb use of color to establish resonance with viewers. Consistent with the song–and her general vibe as an artist–the video relies on a retro theme.
