CBS Renews “2 Broke Girls,” “Mom” & “Mike & Molly” For Next Season

Three current CBS comedies will join flagship “The Big Bang Theory” on next year’s schedule. The network confirmed Thursday that it has officially renewed “2 Broke Girls,” “Mom” and “Mike & Molly” for the 2015-16 television season.

The renewal orders establish a fifth season of “2BG,” a third season of “Mom” and a sixth of “Mike & Molly.”

All three series provided CBS with something to celebrate in its official press release.

Averaging 9.58 million viewers, “2 Broke Girls” is “up +3% in the time period over ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and its own year ago performance.”

“Mike & Molly” is up 20% in total viewers and 6% in adults 25-54 this year.

“Up +42% in viewers (11.89m), +16% in adults 18-49 (2.9/09) and +31% in adults 25-54 (4.2/11), “Mom” is “the fastest growing returning series on television.”

The aforementioned “Big Bang” has already been renewed through 2016-17.
