To date, breakthrough singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has formally released two official singles.
Both are certified top five hits.
Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” rises to #4 on this week’s edition of the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100. Up four places from last week’s position, it now trails only Taylor Swift’s #1 “Blank Space,” Hozier’s #2 “Take Me to Church” and Mark Ronson’s #3 “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” on the weekly listing.
With sales and streaming still hot and airplay on the rise, “Lips are Movin” will likely receive more stimuli for celebration in the coming weeks.
“Lips are Movin” is the follow-up to Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” which spent 8 weeks atop the chart (and remains its #7 song).
