If emerging music superstars are your thing, make sure your television is tuned to NBC Thursday night.
Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will feature a performance from Tove Lo, whose breakthrough hit “Habits” recently soared to the top of the pop radio airplay chart. A very talented performer, Tove Lo’s talk show performances tend to amplify the intense enthusiasm that surrounds her music.
Lead-out “Late Night with Seth Meyers” will meanwhile offer its stage to Irish musician Hozier, whose “Take Me to Church” is quickly transitioning into a multi-format phenomenon. After establishing itself as a hit on alternative radio, “Church” recently crossed over to the pop and hot adult contemporary radio formats. Aided by a performance on “Saturday Night Live” and inclusion in a high-profile Beats campaign, “Church” is quickly conquering mainstream airwaves.
Also a popular sales and streaming option, Hozier’s breakthrough song recently soared into the top ten of Billboard’s Hot 100.
