Update: Thursday’s edition of “Gracepoint” matched last week’s 0.8 adults 18-49 rating but endured a slight hit in total viewers. The broadcast drew 3.31 million pairs of eyeballs.
Earlier in the night, FOX aired “Bones” (1.3 rating, 5.60 million viewers).

FOX’s “Gracepoint” has reached the midway point, and the notion of the show transforming into a hit can officially be dismissed.
Thursday’s episode, which was the show’s fifth broadcast to date, matched last week’s soft 2.2 overnight household rating.
While there is no guarantee the broadcast will also match last week’s 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 3.52 million, there is no reason to believe the show enjoyed notable gains in those categories.
Disappointing about the steadiness is the fact that CBS is no longer featuring Thursday Night Football. The network’s 9PM scripted tandem of “Two and a Half Men” and “The McCarthys” is not irrelevant from a competitive standpoint, but it is nowhere near as formidable as a weekly NFL game.
