It did not match the high marks from earlier in the WrestleMania build, but Monday’s WWE RAW improved upon last week’s viewership performance even against heightened network competition from NBC.
The return of NBC’s Monday lineup, featuring “The Voice” and “Revolution,” delivered big numbers Monday, but the competitive impact was not enough to prevent RAW from improving its marks. All three hours improved over their corresponding segments last week, combining to deliver a 1.7 adults 18-49 with 4.62 million viewers.
On an hourly basis, the show peaked with a 1.8 rating and 4.69 million viewers at 9PM. But due to the length of the overrun and the names involved (The Rock, John Cena, Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley and Booker T), it is very likely that the show’s peak quarter hour came after 11PM.
The three individual RAW hours reigned as the top-three programs on cable Monday.
