Kenny Chesney Leading Lil’ Wayne, Jimmy Eat World on Album Sales Chart

Country mainstay Kenny Chesney appears locked to top next week’s album sales chart with his latest release “Hemingway’s Whiskey.”

Fueled by single “Boys of Fall,” the new Chesney album looks on pace for about 180-200,000 first week sales. That figure is according to the Hits Daily Double forecast, which is based on first-day sales extensions. No other new release will even contend with that tally.

Also debuting will be Lil’ Wayne’s digital release “I Am Not a Human Being,” which looks good for just under 100,000 units. Weezy’s release will top Gucci Mane’s “The Appeal” (60-65,000), Eric Clapton’s “Clapton” (45-50,000) and Jimmy Eat World’s “Invented” (40-45,000).
