The status of talks between Paul Heyman and TNA Wrestling is being described as “cold,” according to a new report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
In addition to the ongoing standstill on negotiation points, Dixie Carter developed a bit of animosity towards Heyman upon learning that he pitched ideas directly to Spike TV. As a whole, she has been unhappy with how the situation with Heyman has been portrayed publicly and privately, and the Spike TV story gave the impression he was going behind her back.
Kevin Sullivan is reportedly still interested in a chief booking role with TNA, although nobody internally speaks of him as a major candidate.

I for one would love to see Heyman in TNA. He’s one of, if not THE, best booker of all time. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin said it himself in an interview about ECW that he really enjoyed and appreciated working with Paul Heyman. I don’t all too much about the situation with Heyman and Carter, but I hope they can work something out and bring Heyman into TNA. Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Paul Heyman working together in TNA would guarantee the company breaking out against WWE and finally dominating.
