WWE has re-confirmed comedians Penn and Teller for the September 20 RAW from Indianapolis, providing yet another firm sign that the guest hosting concept, while no longer weekly, will not be ending imminently.
The comedians, illusionists and skeptics were announced for that RAW episode earlier in the month, only to have the announcement pulled from WWE.com. Now back on the website, it appears fans of the “Bullsh*t” artists can look ahead to the Indianapolis RAW.
Elsewhere, Justin Long, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis from the movie “Going the Distance” are still confirmed for next week’s post-Summerslam RAW. Of note is the fact that the trio’s movie, which also stars Drew Barrymore, had its opening delayed into September, but there has so far been no indication that the release postponement will affect their presence on RAW next week.
October RAW hosts include Bobb’e J. Thompson, who broke through in “Role Models” and appears in the upcoming WWE Films project “Knucklehead.” He hosts October 18, leading into the October 25 appearance of country star Toby Keith.
