Taylor Swift’s “Mine” Sales Strong; Song Debuts at Number 3 On Hot 100

Thanks to a strong opening digital sales frame, Taylor Swift’s “Mine” will debut at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, the prominent singles chart set to release Thursday.

Rushed to market on a Wednesday in the wake of an online leak, the song was not available for the full week yet still managed to net 297,000 sales. The top-downloaded song this week, “Mine” gives Swift her second top 3 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, following “Today was a Fairytale”‘s debut at number two earlier this year with 325,000 downloads.

Airplay-wise, the song currently sits at number 53 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay chart. About 60% of its impressions came from country radio, while the remaining forty was divided between Top 40 and adult radio.

Swift now joins Mariah Carey as the only female artist to have multiple songs debut in the top three on the chart.

Also on the Hot 100: Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie (Featuring Rihanna)” stays at number one, while Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” moves to number two. Katy Perry’s “California Gurls (featuring Snoop Dogg)” is fourth, while Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It (featuring Pit Bull)” finishes the top five.
