TNA continued the push to the upcoming “Hardcore Justice” pay-per-view at Monday’s iMPACT! tapings, and while the episode itself will not air until Thursday, some big details on the future of the hardcore angle–as well as an upcoming TNA iMPACT! special–have already made their way through the wrestling industry.
During this week’s show, Eric Bischoff makes the announcement that some of the former ECW wrestlers will appear on a special, PPV-quality edition of iMPACT! on August 12, the Thursday following the big pay-per-view. Headlining the show will be a bout involving Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss with Janice hanging above the ring.
PWInsider.com adds that TNA is at least considering showcasing some of the “hardcore originals” on house shows this fall.
