— As was hinted in Vince McMahon’s comments on the impending launch of WWE NXT, the show will reportedly adopt a new style of shooting that gives the product a “new look and feel.” WWE officials are excited enough about the new style that they would consider applying into to the RAW and SmackDown! broadcasts if it gets over with WWE audiences.
— While some of the key ECW names are likely to hastily settle into the RAW and SmackDown! rosters, ideas are still being thrown around for some of the fringe talent. The feeling at press time was that such wrestlers will, at the very least, get to work WWE Superstars in the interim as long-term ideas are fleshed out.
— One report on the WWE NXT show said that WWE wanted to heavily incorporate female talent.

— PWInsider.com released a list of nine names expected to appear on the “first season” of WWE NXT. It should be noted that WWE’s official statement said that only eight would be appearing. The names are as follows:
– Justin Angel (FCW Champion)
– Daniel Bryan (formerly Bryan Danielson)
– Kaval (formerly Low Ki)
– Skip Sheffield (appeared on “Tough Enough” as Ryan “Silverback” Reeves)
– Joe Hennig (son of “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig)
– Brett Dibiase (son of the Million Dollar man, brother of Ted Jr.)
– Darren Young
– Heath Slater
– Michael Tarver
