“The Good Wife,” “NCIS” Get Great News From CBS

Three consecutive dominant Tuesdays was enough for CBS–the network handed out full season orders to newcomers “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife.”

While neither show matches the numbers of “NCIS,” the veteran Tuesday lead-off at 8PM, both have performed well for new series and made CBS’ decision on an episode order quite easy.

In three airings, “NCIS: LA” has averaged 17.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched new series. With a 4.1 average in adults 18-49, it ranks second among new shows in the key demographic.

“Wife,” meanwhile, is averaging 13.7 million viewers and a 3.0 in adults 18-49.
