WWE announced late this week that Zack Ryder, who won the opportunity to face Christian for the ECW Championship on the SyFy broadcast Tuesday, will get a quick shot at the belt.
Ryder is slated to face Christian in the main event of this coming Tuesday’s ECW telecast.
Ryder found himself on the radar earlier this summer for a well-reviewed match with Christian. Though some say the wrestler appeared to “blow up” late in the match (leading to Christian carrying the bout), the feeling was that he showed a lot of promise in his performance–and, most importantly, meshed well with the veteran.
