After several days of developments in the “Denver Debacle,” it appears WWE has finally found a new home for Monday’s RAW telecast.
According to reporting by KNBC and 9News, RAW has secured a major venue outside of the Denver, Colorado area for Monday’s event.
The story says that WWE will be holding the event at Los Angeles, California’s Staples Center. Yesterday, WWE reported that both the Staples Center and Madison Square Garden offered to host RAW, and it appears WWE has officially decided to bring this coming week’s show to the Pacific.
WWE was scheduled to confirm the venue change later this evening; details on refunds for those planning to go to the show at Denver’s Pepsi Center will likely emerge soon after.
WWE was forced to relocate its RAW event due to a conflict with NBA’s Western Conference finals. Game four of the series, scheduled for Monday, sees the Denver Nuggets tackle the Los Angeles Lakers. WWE booked the arena far in advance, but the situation ultimately played out in favor of the hometown NBA team.
