Sarah Paulson Earns Emmy For Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series

She was nominated, but Sarah Paulson did not win the Emmy For Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.

She did, however, take home the prize for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.

The actress won the Emmy — the first of her career — for her work in “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story.” Her Supporting Actress nomination was for “American Horror Story: Hotel.”

This year’s other Lead Actress nominees included Kerry Washington, Kirsten Dunst, Felicity Huffman, Audra McDonald and Lili Tyalor.
