Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” was this week’s most added song at pop radio and one of the five-most added songs at rhythmic radio.
Stations at the formats are not simply offering symbolic support; they are playing the song.
After the first three days of the March 24-30 tracking period, “Old Town Road” is trending Top 50 at both formats. It currently appears at #49 on Mediabase’s building rhythmic chart and #50 on the building pop chart.
Given that “Old Town Road” seems to be winning new support with each passing day, it will likely remain inside the Top 50 through the close of tracking.
“Old Town Road” is also #1 on US Apple Music, #3 on US Spotify and #9 on US iTunes.
