Drake’s “God’s Plan” and Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” have won support from what is arguably the most important pop radio station in America.
New York’s Z100 confirms that it has added both songs to its playlist.
The pickups were reported in conjunction with the January 30 add board.
“God’s Plan” just earned #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also broke the record for most on-demand audio streams in a single week.
“The Middle” shot to #2 on the US iTunes sales chart after receiving exposure during a high-profile Grammy Awards commercial. It is already in the Top 40 on the pop radio airplay chart.
